Knowledge Sharing Seminar on IT Outsourcing & SOA Practice between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait, co-hosted by CVIC (Kunshan) SE, IBM and Kunshan Software Park, was held successfully in CVIC (Kunshan) SE from Apr. 17 to 18. The seminar is aiming at strengthening exchanges on IT outsourcing and SOA practice between IT companies from both mainland and Taiwan, to forming the IT outsourcing value and industrial chain.

More than 50 guests from the local government and IT enterprises across the Taiwan Strait participated in the seminar, such as Gong Huaijin, the Deputy Director of Jiangsu Information Industry Department, Zhou Xuerong, the Member of the Standing Committee of Kunshan Municipal Committee Party and executive vice governor, and high level managers from IBM, CVIC SE, Mercuries Soft (Nanjing) Ltd., Xi'an LingAn Computer Co.Ltd., International Integrated Systems Inc. (IISI), Wistron Information Technology & Services Corporation and etc.

Deputy Director Gong Huaijin gave a speech at the seminar that the software industry is given the priority to develop in Jiangsu province and is paid high attention to by Jiangsu government. As the NO.1 of top 100 counties nationwide, Kunshan has attracted more than one ninth of Taiwan-funded enterprises in the mainland since 1980s. Zhou Xuerong, the Member of the Standing Committee of Kunshan Municipal Committee Party and executive vice governor sang high praise of the seminar,” It will promote cross-strait trade development, as well as enhance the interaction between CVIC SE and Taiwan IT enterprises to explore new cross-strait cooperation opportunities for mutual benefits.”

At the seminar, guests from China Software and Integrated Circuit Promotion Center (CSIP), CVIC SE, IBM and Taiwan IT enterprises discussed hot topics, like IT outsourcing and SOA in a warm and friendly atmosphere. Jing Xinhai, Chairman and CEO of CVIC SE, expressed his point of view on the seminar, “To a great extent, the economies cross-strait are complementary to each other. CVIC SE is looking forward to getting hold of the opportunity and greeting the challenge in the future along with partners from both the mainland and Taiwan.
